Health data

Some of what you log says something about your body and health. This notice covers that data on its own, on top of the privacy policy.

What counts

  • Your workouts: sessions, sets, weights, reps, times and activities.
  • Your bodyweight and starting weights.
  • Check-in answers, which can include how you feel, sleep, soreness or an injury, and a photo if a question asks for one.
  • Meals: photos, notes, the foods you log with their calories and macros, and the hunger and energy you rate a day.

Where it comes from

From you, when you log it. Your coach, if you have one, adds programs and comments. We don’t buy health data or collect it from anywhere else.

Why we keep it

Only to run the features you use: show your training back to you, fill in the next weight from last time, put each day on the calendar, and let your coach see your week, meals and check-ins. Nothing else, and never for advertising.

Who sees it

  • You.
  • Your coach, if you joined a coach’s team.
  • The providers that run Ozees for us (hosting, database, photo storage and email), listed in the privacy policy.

We never sell it, and we never share it for advertising.

Your choices

  • See all of it in the app, and export it from Settings as JSON and CSV.
  • Ask us to delete it, or your whole account, by emailing contact@ozees.app. We’ll do it within 30 days and confirm.
  • Stop logging anything you’d rather not share; every log is optional.
  • If we turn a request down, reply to our answer and we’ll look again. You can also contact your state’s attorney general.

Not a medical product

Ozees is a training log, not a healthcare provider or a medical device, and nothing in it is medical advice. Because we aren’t a healthcare provider, this data isn’t covered by HIPAA; this notice and the privacy policy are how we treat it. Talk to a doctor before starting a new program, and stop if something hurts.
